PARTICIPATION GUIDLINES

Shoppers at The Hub Karen will receive a serialized envelope for every purchase of Kes. 5,000 ( or units of Kes. 5,000 thereafter ) made at any outlets at the Hub Karen
during the campaign period.

Shoppers shall claim their correct entitlement of serialized envelops upon presentation of their purchase receipts and failure to do so shall negate any further claim.

Receipts may by bundled from multiple stores at the Hub Karen within the same day to reach Kes. 5,000/- Only receipts from tenants operating within the mall and dated within the campaign period are valid.

Purchase receipts presented will be stamped prior to receiving a serialized envelope. The brand ambassador must verify total spend, receipt dates and tenant names
before issuing a serialized envelop.

The serialized envelops will capture; Full Name, Mobile Number, Email, ID No / Passport, Amount Spent, Date of Purchase, Receipt No./ Transaction No. , store(s)
This data will be used for verification and reconciling with betting control and licensing Board of Kenya during the draw.

The raffle boxes will be stored and displayed at the common areas of the mall to prevent any tampering with the submissions.

The final draw to determine winners will be done at The Hub Karen on January 28th 2026 after the end of the campaign which shall end on January 12, 2026.

The method for selecting the winners shall be determined through a lucky dip, which we will invite a random shopper to hand pick the envelops inside the raffle box Infront of BCLB officials.

Only one serialized envelope will be selected by a random shopper for each prize. The selection criteria will also apply for other giveaways.

Winners shall be contacted by phone from our office phone line 0702 120 120 and requested to share their photo to be posted on traditional and social media pages
within seven days after the selection.

An official email will also be written to all winners informing them of their win on our official letterhead and emailed from info@thehubkaren.com within seven days of the
final draw.

The winner(s) should present the following documents before being awarded the prize.

• Copy of the email letter shared from The Hub Karen informing him/her of the win
• Original ID card/Valid Driving license/passport.

The prizes must be utilized within 3 months after they are awarded and will not be valid during high seasons such as Easter Holidays and Christmas.

Prizes

1. The Grand winner will win a cash prize of Kenya Shillings 1,000,000.
2. First Runners Up Prize – 2 Kenya Airways Tickets for 2 to Cape Town and Accommodation.
3. Second Runners Up Prize – Trip for 2 to Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club for 2 nights of full board basis.

Terms and Conditions

The following conditions apply to the redemption of the shop and win cash prize and other prizes and giveaways.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

How to Enter and Eligibility for Entry

• The competition closes 23.59 GMT 12/01/26 and any entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
• The prize draw will take place on 28th January 2026.
• This competition is not open to employees of The Hub Karen Management, and tenants.
• By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and give The Hub Karen Management permission to use your entry for marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to announcing the winner’s name.
• Determination of winners can lead to disqualification or annulment of the prizes if any entrant is suspected to have breached the above terms and conditions.
• An employee from the Hub Karen Management will contact the winner via the email or phone number provided with their entry, within 15 days of closing.
• The prizes must be collected within 48 hours of being notified, after which the management reserves the right to select another winner who will receive the prize.
• The Hub Karen management will not accept responsibility for late responses.
• The prize can only be redeemed by the winner.
• The Hub Karen reserves the right to request a brief review of the experience with pictures, which may be featured on our company blog, social media or other advertising platforms selected by The Hub Karen Management.
• Eligibility: The promotion is open to all customers aged 18 years and above. Employees of The Hub Karen, its partners, affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
• Prize: The grand prize is Ksh 1,000,000 (One Million Kenya Shillings) in cash. The prize is non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only.
• Prize Redemption: To claim the prize, the winner must present valid identification (National ID or Passport) and proof of entry. The prize will be disbursed within 90 working days after the winner’s verification.
• Publicity: By participating, entrants agree to the use of their names, images, and likeness for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes related to this promotion without further compensation.
• General Conditions: The Hub Karen reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any participant suspected of tampering, fraud, or providing false information. The Hub Karen reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the promotion subject to approval by BCLB. The decision of The Hub Karen and BCLB regarding all aspects of the promotion is final and binding.
• Liability: The Hub Karen will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of the prize.
• Regulatory Approval: This promotion is conducted under the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) license number 0000320
• The prize amount will be subject to statutory deductions as required by laws if applicable. 2 Kenya Airways Tickets for 2 to Cape Town and Accommodation.
• The tickets are valid on Kenya Airways only and are subject to space availability.
• The tickets have no cash value.
• The offer does not cover visa fees.
• The tickets must be utilized within six (6) months from the date of the official issuing event.
• The ticket can only be utilized during the off-peak season and NOT on peak season dates which are from 10th December 2025 to 15th January 2026 and 10th June 2025 – 15th September 2026
